SW 589 Advanced Standing Seminar
Upon completing this seminar, students will be able to demonstrate the competencies required for the advanced year practicum in the MSW program. The advanced standing seminar serves as a bridge between the BSW Generalist practicum and advanced MSW practicum, evaluating students' readiness to apply this knowledge to advanced practice. This course requires demonstrating foundational social work skills and applying theory and coursework into practice, encompassing reflexivity, critical thinking, and effective use of supervision.
