CS 489 Introduction to Privacy-aware Computing

Designed to prepare students with theoretical and practical privacy skills essential for today’s data-driven world. Through a combination of lectures and in-class activities, students will learn about different privacy-aware computing techniques and apply them by collaborating on a group project of their choice. The course also includes research paper discussions, in-class assignments, and guest lectures from industry, government, and academia, offering diverse perspectives on privacy-aware computing.
