CS 439 Introduction to Computational Imaging
Provides a broad introduction to cutting-edge image sensing and reconstruction algorithms that surpass the capabilities of conventional cameras – including high-dynamic range cameras, 3D cameras, thermal and hyperspectral cameras, event cameras, and single-photon cameras. Students discuss research articles, gain practical experience through coding exercises with real-world datasets, and reflect on ethical issues and unintended consequences.
