PA 551 Qualitative Methods for Public and Nonprofit Managers
Covers qualitative research design and processes. The course exposes students to fundamental concepts, tools, and procedures for conducting qualitative research in social science. Students will gain a better understanding of topics like the formulation of research questions, qualitative data collection tools and techniques, as well as data analysis tools and techniques for qualitative research. Whether one is a producer or consumer of research, this course will prepare students to have a solid foundation of developing, conducting, interpreting, and presenting qualitative research in a professional and critical manner.
