Mth 485 Precalculus, Differential Calculus, and Analysis Connections for Teachers

Provides a foundation for lesson planning, teaching, and assessing student learning in college precalculus and differential calculus courses. Intended for individuals who are prospective or current K-16 teachers. Specific topics include functions, sequences, trigonometry, parametric equations, limits, continuity, differentiation and its applications. Emphasizes mathematical practices and ways of thinking including: problem solving, modeling, covariational reasoning, connections with other disciplines, and the use of present-day technology.
