Stat 587 Data Science I

Data Science, as is widely used, constitutes a broad range of topics related to mathematics and algorithms applicable to actual data analysis and machine learning techniques. This course provides a thorough survey of relevant methods balancing the theory and the application aspects. This is the first course in a sequence of two: Stat 587 and Stat 588 which must be taken in a sequence.
