Mth 587 Precalculus, Integral Calculus, and Analysis Connections for Teachers

Provides a foundation for lesson planning, teaching, and assessing student learning in college precalculus and integral calculus courses. Intended for individuals who are prospective or current K-16 teachers. Specific topics include functions, series, trigonometry, polar coordinates, antidifferentiation, integration and its applications. The course will emphasize mathematical practices and ways of thinking including: problem solving, modeling, covariational reasoning, connections with other disciplines, and the use of present-day technology.
