EE 533 Power Systems Planning
Modern power system planning: the influence of electricity markets on power system operation and planning, and the engineering, economic, environmental and public policy consideration that influence transmission system design. Emphasis on the challenges resulting from mass deployment of renewables, distributed energy resources, increasing electrification and urbanization within the energy sector.
Prerequisite
EE 530, or equivalent.
