Ch 221H Honors/Majors General Chemistry I
Honors and Majors General Chemistry lecture course designed to challenge well-prepared students using evidence-based modes of instruction in smaller class sizes. Students work in groups to address real world problems under the guidance of the instructor. Students should have taken at least one year of high-school chemistry. This is the first course in a sequence of three:
Ch 221H,
Ch 222H, and
Ch 223H.
Prerequisite
Math 112Z (C- or better) or a satisfactory score on the mathematics placement assessment (https://www.pdx.edu/math/placement).
