CFS 475 Building Professional Identity
Personal growth, professional identity, and professional action will be explored as it contributes to one’s professional development. The deconstruction of concepts such as professions, professionalism, and professionalization will occur while building foundations for lifelong learning. Emphasis will be placed on reflective and community-based practice, collaborative partnerships, coalition building, and professional ethics. The development of professional writing styles utilized when working with children, youth, and families will be central.
