CE 317 Civil and Environmental Engineering in Society
Examines the societal impacts of civil and environmental engineering through national and local case studies, highlighting historical inequities in infrastructure and centering marginalized experiences. Develops strategies for creating equitable, sustainable solutions. Fosters skills in communication, collaboration, and the evaluation and design of inclusive systems, empowering students to engage diverse audiences and contribute to more just and sustainable engineering practices.
Prerequisite
Admission to an Engineering or Computer Science undergraduate program.
