Epi 630 Critical Assessment of Epidemiologic Literature
Extends students' understanding of the fields of epidemiology and public health research, improves their ability to explore and critique research methods, and prepares them to perform peer-review (e.g., for journals or study sections). Students will discuss peer-reviewed articles that demonstrate application of core observational epidemiologic research designs and methods. Students will think critically about the design and execution of each study, and the implications for interpreting findings.
