Epi 629 Doctoral Seminar in Causal Inference Methods
This advanced, doctoral-level course builds upon students’ prior training in quantitative methods and frameworks for causation and provides deeper conceptual and practical training in counterfactual causal inference (CFCI). This course clarifies common misconceptions and emphasizes the philosophical and theoretical basis of CFCI, and other important topics in modern causality. Analytical methods are introduced with an emphasis on aligning them to the right questions and practical implementation (including code).
